My name is Chuck Russell. I am the founder of BestWork, a company that for 15 years has helped hundreds of businesses get the right people into the right jobs. All Vets have hard-wired personality traits and cognitive abilities that don’t change. When a Vet is placed into a job that does not match those strengths, their best efforts produce poor results and little success at that job. When the strengths of a Vet are matched to the ones needed to perform a particular job, their best efforts produce great results.

I became aware of the special challenges Vets faced when returning to civilian life when asked to help a program at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Association. I learned more from Hiring Heroes and a few other Veterans organizations. I created special reports that offer guidance for a Vet transitioning back into civilian life. I am on the board of Hope & Healing at Hillenglade, a center for equine assisted therapy for Vets suffering from PTSD. The trigger for this GoFundMe program was what one Vet said at Hillenglade, “I was a soldier but now I don’t know what I am.” I cannot personally work with the tremendous number of Veterans who need help rediscovering who they are. I can take the technology and tools I have developed and make it readily available to any Veteran and their family. I ask for your help in making that possible.
